I have been whipping up this smoothie every single day either for breakfast or after my workout. It is so delicious and healthy. I was a little skeptical about what a vegan protein would taste like but its very yummy.
So, why am I eliminating dairy in my smoothie? Too much of it makes me bloat, simple as that. If I am having it in the morning I would prefer not to start my day feeling bloated. You can definitely opt for a non-vegan protein but the Vanilla flavor is key to this recipe! But, the Vega Protein & Greens Vanilla Protein is great and it doesn’t have that “protein” taste which I can get on board with.

I will also include my Primal Kitchen Collagen Fuel in Vanilla Coconut flavor. This has been replacing my multi-vitamin each day (usually I blend this in with my coffee). Aside from a multi-vitamin I do take a Vitamin-A supplement and Omega-3. (Psst, if you were interested in the Collagen Fuel you can get 10% off your order with code: CASEY10)

The other items that go into this smoothie are pretty basic. Almond milk, water, ice, and of course blueberries! These are key to the flavor, and make sure you are using the exact amount that I list in this recipe or it’s not going to have the blueberry part of the blueberry muffin (trust me on this, I did a lot of testing haha).

Putting this whole thing together is pretty simple. Literally, put it all in your blender…blend it…and it’s done and delicious! I have an older model of the blender that you’ll see that I use but I did link up the newer version of it (much nicer color and same price point). Here is the blender if you were in the market for a new one!

Smoothie Ingredients
5-6 ice cubes (just depends on how thick you want it)
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1-2 cups of water (if you do more ice, do less water)
1 scoop Vega Protein & Greens Vanilla Protein
1 scoop Primal Kitchen Collagen Fuel in Vanilla Coconut (optional but you can get 10% off with my code CASEY10, shop here! I use this stuff every day.)
1 cup of blueberries
