This year I was not pregnant meaning my energy level was way up from last year so I decided it was time to upgrade our Christmas decor! I am a huge advocate of sentimental decor so I love to incorporate that sort of thing any way that I can. This year we're doing a lot of flocked garland, crystal pine cones, and buffalo check in honor of our little guy!
I still feel like I am growing up little by little every day. My twenties were incredible. I fell in love, got married, got pregnant, bought a house, miscarried a baby, graduated college, got a big girl job, sold our house, got pregnant again, built a house, and had a son. Whew. When I type it all out, blessed doesn't even describe the way I feel. However, with all of that comes so many lessons. Real, serious, life lessons. Here are a few things that my twenties taught me, realizations that will shape the way I enter my thirties.
I expected things would be different about my body after I pushed out a 6 pound baby (which I know, "psh, that's nothing I had a 9 pound baby!" but when your epidural just stops working while your pushing and you feel every inch of that little monkey come out of your hoo-ha...talk to me). Here are the 5 things I had no idea would happen to my body after delivery!
